The First Fudan-Singapore Seminar for Public Servants Completed

According to the convention between the Chinese government and the Singaporean government about the joint formation of public servants, the School of International Relations and Public Affairs of Fudan University undertook the First China-Singapore Seminar for Public Servants from Mai 16thto 27th, 2015. Supported by the Ministry of Education of Singapore and the Sino-Singapore Fund, 7 young Singaporean public servants from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Defense, Ministry of Law, Ministry of Transport and People’s Association attended the seminar.


 In order to enhance the mutual understanding between the Chinese and Singaporean public servants, the School of International Relations and Public Affairs has also invited dozens of cadres from institutions directly under CPC Central Committee and related departments of Shanghai to share their own experiences. The Singaporean students broadened their knowledge about the current problems of contemporary China by discussions and exchange with their Chinese counterparts. After the seminar, 7 Singaporean students were invited to attend the Shanghai Forum.
