Research Institute of Ecology and Environment (IEE) was established in December 2019. There are now 6 professors, 8 associated professors and lecturers, and more than 30 postdoctoral, doctoral and master students. In recent years, the Institute has carried out more than 40 think-tank projects, major and key scientific research projects, government decision consulting projects in the field of ecological environment at the national and provincial levels. The institute is currently focused on the study of belt and road environmental co-governance and ecological security co-construction of international cooperation, and green development research of belt and road and the Yangtze River Economic Belt.
